It's Paper Guy ! | Sound Designer & Composer
« It's Cute Let's cut ! »
It's Paper Guy is definitely one of my favorite projects. I worked on this game for over 3 months with a wonderful development team. Conceiving the audio design for it was a real challenge since the team and myself were very attached to the idea of making a game that both children and grown ups could enjoy. The Sound Design of the game is heavily based on paper-based recordings. With the team we recorded many different kind of papers to have a full spectrum of paper sounds (matt coated paper, recycled paper, regular paper and even cigarette paper). On the other hand we did many hours of studio voice recording and we had a lot of fun creating our own personal language for the game's characters using single syllables and consonants. As for the game's developement, Audiokinetic's Wwise was a particularly helpful tool. It allowed me to create an interactive music system that subtly ends every music cue when the player solves a puzzle or exits an area. You can listen to the main themes of the game bellow: |

Stori | Sound Designer & Composer
Stori is a 2D platformer that occurs within a comic strip. The beautiful art direction of this game inspired me to create strong narrative music. We wanted the player to sympathize with the characters and the emotional character of the music was one of our main tools for it.
The Sound Design of Stori has spatialized nature ambiences that make the lush forest of the game alive. However, there is also a heavy use of mechanic/robotic sounds to represent the robotic civilisation that lives in the forest. |
Quur | Sound Designer & Composer
Quur is a 3D Action-adventure game that invites players to explore and discover a world relying on a unique resource called Ink. This resource constitutes the life and soul of every living being.
The Sound Design of Quur is full of magical sounds created with synthesizers. The world of Quur is full of fantastic creatures so I did some creature sound design but also environment ambiences and feedbacks for the combat system of the game. You can check out my sound design demo reel on the Youtube video walkthrough of this section! |

Glow | Interactive Music Workshop
Glow is an interactive music experience that I worked on with Christophe Franco-Rogelio during an interactive music workshop at the National School Of Games and Interactive Media (Enjmin). We were lucky to have feedbacks from french video game composers Christophe Héral, Arnaud Roy and Frédéric Motte. For this workshop, we composed original music and did the implementation with Wwise on an existing game called Glow.
Every game input triggers an event that is synced with Wwise interactive music system. |
